San Diego was a lot of fun this year, but the con just gets bigger and bigger. Just when you think there's no possible way it could get larger, that's when another 20,000 people decide to show up. Aside from some folks in the aisles near in small press, I didn't get much of an opportunity to talk to other cartoonists. Thems the breaks, I guess. I'm still a little fried from the whole thing - after spending tons of time by myself drawing, being surrounded by literally tens of thousands of people is a little jarring.

I managed to get out of SD without even one page of original art, although I was dying to take a chunk out of a stack of early John Paul Leon art that was mostly $20-25 a page. Ugh! But, I did stock up on some cheap TPB's, and I plan on working through those over the next week or so.

I spent a lot of today trying to catch up online. I got a few albums from E-Music (a couple of Dinosaur Jr. albums, a couple of Engine Down albums, and the Native Nod album - I blame Alan for all of it). It'll probably take me a couple of weeks before I've even listened to all of it, but that's alright. Better to have too much to do than too little.

Well, I guess it's time to enjoy some Daily Show or something. I was completely thwarted in my attempt to rent a video game because both Battle Ground video stores had weak-ass selections. Damn them straight to hell!!!
